“We have already started the procedures to have the license and authorization of the writer Sandoval to adapt his wonderful work to the big screen with the Bollywood label, which I am sure will be an excellent film production,” said Prabhakar Sharan.
Sharán, at a press conference in the Panamanian capital, made the announcement, highlighting that the work that “collects the courage and bravery of that cacique and extraordinary indigenous warrior Urracá, is a great story that is worth universalizing through cinema.” .

The book “Heroicas al Indómito Urracá”, is about the work that was written by the author Sandoval, in eighth real or epic and that in its essence collects historical data of 150 caciques who together with indigenous warriors faced the Spanish colonizers in times of conquest.
This work by the Panamanian writer has been awarded several times, one of them being in 2011 when he received in Sonora, Mexico, recognition by the Technological Institute of Monterrey as the “First Epic of America” embodied by an inhabitant of this continent.
“Bringing Heroicas al Indómito Urraca to the cinema is a dream come true and as a Panamanian I feel very proud for this great Bollywood distinction and we are already in talks so that we can go from dream to reality with this work,” said Samid Sandoval.
