Red Dead Redemption 2 crashes due to the latest Windows 11 update.

The March 28 Windows 11 update, KB5023774, has caused quite a few issues for Red Dead Redemption 2 players who can no longer launch the game. Immediately after installing the latest patch of the operating system, launched from the Rockstar Games Launcher, the game crashes, refusing to start.

Fortunately, Microsoft already has a solution, at least a temporary one. Update KB5023774 is part of an older version of Windows 11, 21H2. To resolve, just force update to the latest version. To do this, open Windows Update and click Check for Updates. If your system is ready, you will be prompted to download and install Windows 11 22H2 i.e. update KB5023778.

However, the problem may still persist. If so, you just have to wait for Microsoft and Rockstar Games to take further steps to fix the situation.
