An explosion hit a gas line in the town of Pelym in Siberia, around fifty miles north of Yekaterinburg on Wednesday, reports the Tass news agency.
A local official tells Tass that no injuries have been reported following the explosion. The news agency said the gas pipeline caught fire after the explosion, but did not provide further details.
The Interfax news agency says the same official reports a drop in pressure in a main gas line after the explosion.
