The Minsk Inspectorate of the Ministry of Taxes and Dues (MTC) told in which case Belarusians do not need to file a declaration and pay tax when making a money transfer from abroad.
So, according to the Tax Code, if a person who is not a relative transferred money to you, then the amount is not subject to taxation for 2022 at 8,078 rubles or less. However, this is the case if it was given to you.
“If the money is transferred for another purpose, then you need to find out the nature of the transfer,” noted in the capital’s tax inspectorate to the agency “Minsk-Novosti”.
In addition, you do not need to submit a declaration if the money was transferred as loan return.
By the way, if you received money as a gift (regardless of the amount) from close relatives, they are not recognized as an object of income taxation at all, and accordingly, you do not need to file a declaration on such income.
