The United States brings together this Wednesday and Thursday 120 countries, a majority of the states of the planet, to strengthen democracy in the world. At a time when democracy is eroding all over the world, “we have chosen to re-invite all the countries that were there for the first summit in 2021. This does not mean that all these democracies are perfect”, justified last week Rob Berschinski, head of democracy and human rights at the State Department.
