Hamburg now offers flights to this sought-after city in Europe

Hamburg Airport has announced a new connection to Switzerland: Swiss International Air Lines will be flying direct to Geneva from this summer.

The airport announced that the new connection will fly to the second largest city in Switzerland every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. With the new connection to Geneva, a popular route is returning. Swiss is currently already flying to Zurich, Switzerland, 31 times a week – the range is now being expanded.

“Our long-standing partner Swiss is bringing back a popular destination in Geneva,” says Michael Eggenschwiler, CEO at Hamburg Airport. “In addition to the classic sunny destinations, the North Germans also want to get to know other cities and make their holidays more active. Many Swiss are also drawn to the metropolis of Hamburg, both in a private and professional context.”

In future, the Airbus A220 will fly four times a week at 2:45 p.m. from Geneva to Hamburg, where it will land around an hour and a half later. In the evening we return to Switzerland at 5.20 p.m. (planned arrival in Geneva at 7.05 p.m.). (mp)
