A new storm with heavy rains and copious snow hits California from this Tuesday. This was warned by the National Weather Service (NWS) to residents. Especially in elevated areas and those already flooded.
Winter storm warnings are in effect for the mountains where 12 to 5 feet of snow is expected at already saturated elevations.

The region was hit last week by a storm, which killed five, toppled trees and left hundreds of thousands without power.
Another concern is already flooded regions such as the Pájaro River sector. It is a community of farm workers in Monterey County in the north of the state. The region has been flooded for several weeks.
The state capital, Sacramento, will also be affected by the storm that will last until Wednesday.

The Democratic governor has said that “the state is working closely with federal and local partners to provide immediate relief and support the ongoing recovery.”
