Apple now offers the download of the classical music equivalent of “Spotify”

What the apple company proposes is a wide catalog with a quality in keeping with the music lover

Lo we announced earlier this month: the app landed on March 28 Apple Music Classical for all Apple Music subscribers. In essence, a gigantic music library of the genre with five million works of classical music in qualities up to 192 KHz/24-bit Hi-Res Lossless along with immersive Dolby Atmos audio recordings.

as they explained from Apple in a statement a few weeks ago:

Apple Music Classical makes it quick and easy to find any recording in the world’s largest catalog of classical music with fully optimized search. Listeners can enjoy the highest audio quality available and experience many of their favorite classics in a whole new way with immersive spatial audio.

In other words, if you’re a fan of classical music, you’re in luck, because what’s released the apple company is a broad catalog with a quality according to the music lover. In addition, the platform proposes a precise metadata system that will allow us to know who composed and who is playing the music we listen to, as well as editorial content with “thousands of biographies of composers and descriptions of key works.”

All of this and much more is already available to download from the App Store for Apple Music subscribers, although there will be a catch at launch. For example, there won’t be a native iPad version and you won’t be able to download music for offline listening.

In both cases, presumably it will be a matter of time, and that lovers of classical music will try an app that promises immersion in the genre rarely seen, since in addition to listening to the “classics”, the listener can learn more thanks to metadata.
