Jonathan Majors, an actor from the United States, reportedly arrested in New York over alleged assault charges.

The woman, who told police she was “assaulted” and whose relationship to the actor has not been clarified, was taken to hospital for treatment of minor injuries to her head and neck, and is in a “stable condition”, according to the same source. The actor’s agent, Carrie Gordon, assured in a press release published by the daily Los Angeles Times, that the actor had “done nothing wrong”.

She said she hopes she can “clear his name” quickly, while the actor’s attorney, Priya Chaudhry, quoted by local media, said they were “gathering and going quickly to present to the district attorney evidence in the hope that all charges against him will be withdrawn”.
