Police have shot dead a woman after a mass shooting at a private Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee, left at least three children and three adults dead.
Tennessee police received a call at 10:13 a.m. Sunday morning about a shooting at a local Christian school, Reuters reported.
Nashville Metropolitan Police Department spokesman Don Aaron told reporters that officers who arrived at the scene could hear gunfire from the second floor of the school.
Allen pointed out that the gunman had at least two semi-automatic rifles and a pistol. Two police officers opened fire on the gunman in the lobby area of the school. The female suspect died at 10:27 a.m.
