Tony Leung Receives Lifetime Achievement Award at Venice Film Festival

Sina Entertainment News The 80th Venice Film Festival awarded director Liliana Cavani and actor Tony Leung the Golden Lion Award for Lifetime Achievement. The film festival will be held from August 30th to September 9th. Alberto Barbera, the artistic director of the Venice Film Festival, praised Tony Leung as a charismatic actor, “He can not only control the roles of different types of films, but also span TV, pop culture and art cinema from different dimensions.”
In this regard, Tony Leung said: “I am very surprised and honored. I hope to celebrate this award with the directors I have worked with. This award is also a tribute to them.”
