Due to the rainy weather of the past few days, the gravel parking lot is so full of water that it has to be temporarily closed again to prevent possible future accidents. The City Warden has already started cordoning off, everyone is asked not to use the gravel parking lot – this is revealed by the City Warden’s latest from its announcement. As we previously reported, the area had to be closed once on January 11 due to heavy rains at the time, and it took more than a month for the area to be usable again. By the way, this area is private property, and according to plans, a shopping center would be built here one day. However, it is still not known when construction will begin. Until then, the city can use this as a quasi-free parking lot, as long as it’s not under water.
According to a statement from the municipal communication center, the City Warden will set up cordons at the Halász and Selyem utca entrances, and they will also warn about the closure with a text message. Everyone is asked to pay attention to the posted signs and not to use the gravel area for parking for the time being.
