Now the broadcaster has announced the first four commentators for the new season. This is how program director Stephan Schmitter explains in an interview with the HE DOESthat Jan Stecker, Sebastian Vollmer, Markus Kuhn and Alex von Kuczkowski will be at the microphone.
“This is our ‘Starting Four’,” says Schmitter.
With the plug, RTL brings a long-time face from ranNFL. Vollmer and Kuhn both played in the league and were always active as commentators.
Von Kuczkowski, better known as “Kucze”, is new to the business. He is known as the host of the podcast “Footballerei” and has already written a number of books on the NFL.
However, the team will continue to grow. “Since football is played by big teams, we will also expand our team significantly in the next few weeks,” Schmitter announced hopefully.
Many names have been traded in the past few weeks. There has already been speculation about a comeback by Frank Buschmann, as he no longer wants to comment on football from the summer.
From the summer, RTL will broadcast around 80 games live on TV each season. These include the entire playoffs, the Super Bowl and the games in Germany. There could even be two duels in Frankfurt this year.
