Once graduated, settled in Thionville, he returned to Morocco to marry his childhood sweetheart. “But as soon as we started the marriage process, his parents posed obstacles,” says Nassim. The young woman finds a job in the restaurant business. The engineer applies to the Cattenom power plant. The sector is sensitive, his personal situation is peeled. He discovers that his wife is not declared. “She told me that if I reported her, she would file a complaint for domestic violence. »
Nassim knocks on all the doors. He filed a petition for divorce in Morocco, reported the problem to the police station and seized the Thionville court. “Police social assistance called me back, she told me about a gray marriage. »

At the beginning of December, the wife denounces violence which, according to her, has been going on for months. An ITT is prescribed. An investigation is opened. Nassim is diabetic, his placement in police custody is postponed because of his state of health. He loses his footing.
He recorded his entire story in a binder: photos of a fulfilled couple, captures of tender messages, bank documents, testimonials from neighbors which reinforce his version. “I didn’t impose anything on my wife,” he insists. “I was 100% invested in this relationship, emotionally, financially. »
His companion left home at the end of 2022. But the procedure is far from over. The investigation is ongoing. Nassim sent a letter to the public prosecutor. He would like to file a complaint for slanderous denunciation and for sentimental fraud for migratory purposes.
