(ANSA) – Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli took a horseback ride from Central Park to Times Square in New York, surprising fans and visitors there.
The artist was accompanied by his wife, Verónica, and participated in a promotional action to publicize the documentary “The Journey”, which will be screened in American theaters between April 2 and 6.
In Italy, the play is broadcast on Paramount + from February 1.
The documentary shows the couple riding part of the Via Francigena, an ancient pilgrimage route that runs from Rome to England.
There are six episodes that show the pilgrimage of the singer and his wife on the way from Saint Peter’s Basilica, in the Vatican, to the hometown of Lajatico, in Tuscany, on a journey of about 300 kilometers. (ANSA).
