While the protest movements are linked to the end of the use of 49.3 to have the pension reform adopted, the association L’air de rien and the collective Les Déambulateurs 56 organized this Friday, March 24 an evening fest -noz of support for the strikers.
It is in a warm and musical setting that the inter-union of the Pays de Ploërmel met, to support the demonstrations against the adoption of the pension reform with music. On the program, Breton dances and a moment of sharing around a sausage pancake, in a good-natured spirit. The mayor of Augan, Gwenaël Launay, was also there. Equipped with his guitar, he started the evening with his music group “Aurelie Lucas & Launay’s Band & Jakez”. Solène Mouton, who is one of the supervisors of this evening, explains that a whole network of volunteers was formed during the preparation of this evening. “For this event, we have launched a call for musical groups, whether professional or amateur, and many are those who have responded”. But this evening was also fueled by the Peasant bakers of Malestroit, with their brioches. As for the drinks, we owe the apple juice to Les Tordus de la Poire de Porcaro, while the cider comes straight from Chantier d’Automne, in Concoret. “A whole dynamic has been created around this fest-noz”, she continues. The bookstore La Grange du Livre also participated in the fundraising. A stand held by Carole Josset at the entrance of the room, made discover various works related to the theme of resistance and struggle.
“It’s a way to support people who have demonstrated. The money collected thanks to his books will be donated to the association”, she specifies.
If on the one hand, many came to support the demonstrations, others also came to celebrate this fest-noz. Françoise, accompanied by her husband Fred, share their feelings about the evening: “It seemed like a very good idea to me. I am personally retired and opposed to this reform, but I also like the traditional side of the fest-noz. The atmosphere is friendly and super nice.” she explains, when she also wanted to introduce Breton culture to her Picard husband. All the elements were there to have a good time.
This evening was also marked by the arrival of deputy Paul Molac, who sang accompanied by his group Ferzae.
With regard to the protest movement against the pension reform, new actions are to be expected next Tuesday with a new rally, place de la mairie in Ploërmel at 11 a.m.
