You can find out the technical characteristics of the graphics adapter both using standard Windows tools and by using third-party applications. To view GPU parameters using standard tools, just follow these steps:
- Opening the start menu.
- Select “Control Panel”.
- Select “Device Manager”.
- Select “Display adapters”.
If the video card model is not detected by Windows, then instead of “Display adapter” in the manager, “Standard VGA graphics adapter” will be displayed. In addition, the properties of the video card can be viewed through the command line. To do this, run cmd.exe and then type msinfo32. A window with three sections will appear on the screen. In it you need to select “Components”, and then click on the inscription “Display”.
To view the characteristics of the video card using third-party applications, you must install on the PC AIDA64, SIW or Speccy.
