“Closing Ceremony of the Textile and Leather Garment and Article Adaptation Training Program” – Diocese of Ciudad Rodrigo

The course “Arrangements and adaptations of textile and leather garments and articles” ended today, Friday, December 23, with the delivery of diplomas to the participants by the Director Mar Manzano and Laura Gorjón, technician of the training action.

This training, which began on September 19, has been organized by Diocesan Caritas Ciudad Rodrigo and financed by the European Social Fund through the Social Economy Operational Program 2020-2023, INDITEX and Autonomous Personal Income Tax.

A total of eight participants have been trained in this course with a duration of 320 theoretical-practical hours, of which 80 have been in the Hospital de la Pasión Nursing Home and Provincial Mixed Residence located in Ciudad Rodrigo.

The content of the course has been adapted to the current legislation and the content of the professional certificates of the sector, with the completion of the following modules:

  • Materials, tools, machines and clothing equipment (70 hours)
  • Arrangements in clothing and household linen.
  • Basic techniques of cutting, assembly and finishing of textile products. (60 hours)
  • Garment and household linen repair operations. (40 hours)
  • Adaptations and customizations in clothing.
  • Customizations in clothing. (30 hours)
  • Module of non-labor professional practices. (80 hours)
