Work place

The place of work (HQ) will be determined according to the place of residence of the selected person between:

  • Montreal, (1500 Robert-Bourrassa Boulevard, QC, H3A 3S8)
  • Chicoutimi (1400 rue de la Manic, Saguenay, QC, G7K 1A3 )
  • Trois-Rivières (6000, boul des Forges, Trois-Rivières, QC, G8Y 6K5)

Your mission

Through your knowledge of business architecture, you will contribute to the creation of roadmaps according to business trajectories as well as to capacity modeling. You will also contribute to the framework of the business architecture practice in a federated enterprise architecture model.

Your main daily activities

  • Guide the company’s technological choices in strategic files in the IT field.
  • Give an overview of the information technologies used in the company and influence the evolution of the target company architecture. ·
  • Ensure the integration of technological architectures and propose innovative solutions to integration problems.
  • Identify the company’s needs regarding technological architectures and IT infrastructures, identify areas of vulnerability and propose the necessary corrective measures.
  • Exercise recognized leadership both externally and internally in the field of IT.
  • Externally, represent the company on technical committees in the IT field.
  • Maintain privileged relationships with peers both externally and internally.
  • Have an overview of the technologies available and to come on the market and establish the links with the technologies used in the company. Recommend technologies that meet the company’s business needs and ensure the sustainability of technologies already in place.
  • Act as a coach for information technology architecture advisors.

Requirements

  • Hold an undergraduate degree (BAC) in telecommunications or another relevant field or any combination of experience or training deemed equivalent.
  • Have a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in information technology, more specifically in business architecture or enterprise architecture.

Skills and knowledge related to the position

  • Have demonstrated the ability to act as an architect in the modernization of business systems or in digital transformation programs.
  • Have a very good knowledge of modeling business capacity, services, value flows and processes.
  • Have a very good knowledge of business strategy development.
  • Have a very good knowledge of the field of business intelligence.
  • Have a very good knowledge of the principles and practices of business architecture, such as those documented in the Bizbok.
  • Have a very good knowledge of enterprise architecture repositories (TOGAF, Zachman).
  • Have a good knowledge of P+ and SAFe methodologies.
  • Demonstrate mastery of the following behavioral competencies:

    • Strategic vision
    • Customer-centric
  • Have a knowledge of the French language appropriate to the function.
