Today, Saturday, an earthquake measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale struck Kahramanmaraş, southern Turkey, the epicenter of the devastating earthquake, fulfilling the predictions of Dutch seismologist Frank Hogrebits, who predicted months ago that new earthquakes would hit that region.
The Turkish Anatolia Agency stated that the earthquake occurred in the district of “Akin Ozu” in the state of Kahramanmaraş, at a depth of 7 kilometers.
Yesterday, Friday, a 4.7-magnitude earthquake struck the state of Kahramanmaraş, and the Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said in a statement that the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 7.34 kilometers underground in the Gokson region of the state.
This is the fourth earthquake to hit Kahramanmaraş since the day before yesterday, Thursday.
