WhatsApp already has everything you need? Not quite: Because now there should be an update that unlocks a very convenient function.
The messenger service with the green logo is constantly releasing new updates. However, these often only consist of minor bug fixes, so that the “innovation” goes unnoticed by many users.
Now, however, there is supposed to be a new function that could actually simplify virtual communication a bit.
WhatsApp: Answer via short video
The WhatsApp developers are apparently working on the possibility of sending video messages in addition to text and voice messages.
A video function is only available when making calls. It is planned for the new function that the videos may last up to 60 seconds, are also subject to end-to-end encryption and cannot be saved or forwarded.
Here you can see the tweet about the planned video function of WhatsApp:
Like the portal „wabetainfo.com“ reports that WhatsApp is hoping for some benefits from the new feature. In this way, users could convey their own emotional state better with videos and explain things better because gestures and facial expressions make it easier to understand what one means.
Since the new feature is currently still in the middle of development, WhatsApp users will have to wait a little longer until they receive the video function in one of the next updates.
