In a press release, experts from the Meteorological Authority monitored a map of the expected rain today, Saturday, March 25, 2023.
And the meteorology said: “It is expected that low and medium thunderstorm clouds will multiply over the north of the country until north of Upper Egypt, Sinai and north of the Red Sea governorate, accompanied by rains of varying intensity, sometimes accompanied by hail, that reach the level of torrential rains in Sinai.”
The sand and dust winds are also active as a result of the air falling below the thunderclouds.
The Authority expected medium to heavy rains to fall in these governorates: Cairo, Giro, Qalyubia, Alexandria, Buhaira, Kafr El-Sheikh, Gharbia, Menoufia, Dakahlia, Sharkia, Matrouh, Damietta, Canal Cities, Fayoum, Beni Suef, Minya.
As for North and South Sinai, the authority expected medium to heavy rains that would reach the level of torrential rains, while in the north of the Red Sea governorate, the authority expected medium rains to fall.
