ProstoMob catches Galaxy S23 Ultra painting teeth of newborns

Not so long ago, Samsung was at the epicenter of a scandal. She was convicted of drawing missing fragments on photographs of the Moon in order to improve their quality. As it turned out, the AI algorithms of the Galaxy S23 Ultra can draw not only fragments of the moon, but also the teeth of newborn children.

Details

Apricot user Lennon posted a video on Twitter showing the process of enhancing a photo of a baby using the Remaster feature. The woman assumed that AI algorithms would make the photo of the child brighter with the help of filters. Meanwhile, the result was not at all what she expected. The “remaster” wiped the snot off the child’s face, erased his tongue, and then added the teeth, which were not in the original photo.

Samsung claims that the “Remaster” function is designed to remove unnecessary shadows, reflections and other objects from pictures. Twitter users decided to check if other Samsung models can paint children’s teeth. As it turned out, only the latest flagship with the Ultra nameplate has this skill. The regular Galaxy S23 can’t draw teeth.
