Moenchengladbach. After the end of the police operation in Mönchengladbach-Hardt due to a bomb threat on Thursday, March 23, 2023 against the GGS school complex and the Hardt comprehensive school, the previously unknown perpetrator again threatened school-related crimes on the same day.
Details about the nature and content of the contact made by the unknown perpetrator can still not be disclosed for investigative tactical reasons.
The further development prompts the police to carry out further criminal investigations as well as risk-averting measures adapted to the situation. For tactical reasons, details are not communicated.
In a joint vote, the school management of the Hardt community primary school and the Hardt comprehensive school and the Mönchengladbach police have decided that the schools will remain closed on Friday and Saturday as a precaution. School is scheduled to resume on Monday.
Supplementary school offers such as the “Open All-Day School” (OGS) and the afternoon care are also affected. (ots)
