Regarding the series, which draws attention to its exciting events, the artist Ahmed Fahmy said that it is a huge work that talks about two time periods, the present era and the era of the French campaign against Egypt, and 600 actors participated in it, including 60 main stars.
Fahmy also indicated, during a telephone interview with the “Your Interaction” program broadcast on “Al-Arabiya” channel, that the work did not only talk about the Egyptian identity, but rather dealt with very large social aspects, pointing to the director Khaled Youssef’s keenness to achieve a balance between the strength of the series in terms of the depth of its events. and popular success.
And about not writing the names of the actors in the “Tatars” of the series, Fahmy said that the work includes a large number of stars, all of whom the audience knows by name, and the space of the introduction was not able to bear all the names, so they thought that it was better not to write names as it happens in foreign works, which is unusual in Egypt. , but they decided it was the most appropriate.
And about his completion of filming the series, whose first episodes received a great public interaction, before Ramadan, Fahmy said that the director Khaled Youssef was keen to receive all the episodes of the series before starting filming, and arranged things in an unusual way, which made the end about a week or 10 days before Ramadan something that could be achieved. .
And the artist Ahmed Al-Saadani, Reem Mustafa, Hussein Fahmy, Hanan Mutawa, Ahmed Abdel Aziz, Hala Sidky, Mahmoud Kabil and a large number of stars and artists participate in the series.
