Remco Evenepoel (Soudal Quick-Step) won the 3rd stage of the Tour of Catalonia before Primoz Roglic (Jumbo-Visma)! In the first stage, I showed that I could be fast but I went too far. Today, we saw again that I had speed, it’s great! What we showed was the plan, what we wanted to do. We knew there was a fairly long and difficult climb before the final climb. I am very happy with the result and the work of the team. “We will aim for victory tomorrow…”
Remco Evenepoel was then asked about the rest of the week and his great battle against Primoz Roglic for the gain of the general classification. “In general, there is a good fight.
