Increase in interest rates on loans supported by Passheld A

David Lisnard seized Gabriel Attal, Minister of the Budget

Many municipalities have taken out loan contracts with the Caisse des dépôts backed by the Livret A rate.

Due to the new value of the rate, the maturities of these loans will increase.

These increases could put the municipalities concerned in difficulty to honor the payment of their interests.

In order to find solutions, David Lisnard, President of the Association of Mayors of France and Presidents of Intercommunality, called on Gabriel Attal, Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy, Finance and Industrial and Digital Sovereignty, responsible for public accounts.
