And the Zamalek administration had decided, headed by Mortada Mansour, who is now serving a one-year prison sentence in the case of insulting and slandering Mahmoud Al-Khatib, president of Al-Ahly Club, the return of the Portuguese, Josealdo Ferreira, as coach of the team until the end of the current season 2022-2023, and completing his contract earlier.

The decision to return the Portuguese coach (77 years) to his position came approximately 10 days after his dismissal from his post, following Zamalek’s famous loss to Ghazl El Mahalla (2-1) in the 15th round of the local league championship, and the appointment of Osama Nabih as general coach instead of him.
