In December, Lionel Messi was crowned world champion with Argentina. Since then, however, things have been a bit bumpy for the superstar. Now he is said to have received an immoral offer from Saudi Arabia.
Lionel Messi, who currently plays for Paris Saint-Germain, has reportedly received a €194m-a-year offer to join Saudi Arabia club Al-Hilal next season and it could make him a billionaire.
If Messi accepts the offer, he could become the highest-paid footballer, surpassing Cristiano Ronaldo, who joined Al-Nassr for €175m a year last year. If Lionel Messi accepts Al-Hilal’s €194m-a-year offer, the move, along with his existing fortune and sponsorship deals, could catapult him into the billionaire club.
