Israel has launched airstrikes in Syria, including against an Aleppo airport on Wednesday morning, according to Syrian media reports.
Several missiles targeted the international airportthe second time it has been hit in recent weeks.
There were no reports of casualties or damage. nor information about the specific targets of the airstrikes.
Other eyewitnesses claim that separate airstrikes hit targets around the capital Damascus.
There was no comment from the Israel Defense Forces, in line with its policy of not generally commenting on airstrikes in Syria. It is considered that Israel has carried out hundreds of strikes against targets in government-held parts of Syria in recent years, including attacks on Damascus and Aleppo airports, but has rarely acknowledged or discussed the operations.
