After the promotion of “Ramez Never End”, the famous prank program, scheduled to be shown throughout Ramadan on MBC Egypt, was launched, the artist Ahmed El Sakka appeared in the promotional advertisement for the program while holding a snake and separating his head from his body, and the artist Ramez Jalal was injured in his hand and the appearance of blood on it because of this snake. The user is in the prank, and he said to his program team, “Oh, people, we are really sure that it is not poisonous.”
So, after communicating with one of the fishermen in Abu Rawash, about the type of snake that appeared, he mentioned the following:
Although it is not very clear in the pictures, this snake is closer to a species called “Harsin”, which is from the “Abu al-Siwar” family.
It is considered a poisonous text snake because its fangs are internal.
The poison that comes out of it does not affect an adult human.
There is no danger of it to humans.
For his part, Dr. Sherif Hetta, a public health and preventive medicine consultant, said that the nature of animals, such as snakes that are exposed to soil and land, is a source of pollution, and therefore direct contact with it may increase the risk of infection, especially skin infections.
Hetta added that in the event of exposure to a wound, it may increase the entry of bacteria and germs, resulting in contamination that may lead to blood poisoning.
He stressed that first aid when exposed to a wound from a snake, or contact with it, includes the following:
Clean the wound well.
Do not close the wound with stitches to avoid closing the existing internal bacteria.
Receive a tetanus shot to avoid exposure to any infection that may occur.
In the event of a high temperature, a fever reducer should be received.
Receive an antibiotic to avoid a bacterial infection that could occur.
If placed in the mouth, the mouth should be rinsed well with an antiseptic to avoid infection.
