According to the German Red Cross, around 15,000 blood donations are needed in Germany every day to care for sick and injured people. That’s why the DRK, among other things, regularly calls for blood donations on the Lower Rhine – also this week. Blood donation usually takes about 10 minutes, and about half a liter of blood is taken from the donor. This week there are still several appointments in the Wesel district: today (March 21) in the DRK center in Neukirchen-Vluyn, tomorrow (March 22) in the Sparkasse in Moers or on Thursday (March 23) in the Maximilian-Kolbe-Haus in Voerde. DYou can find the exact locations and times here.
This week, blood donation is still available in Wesel district.
