The doctor of Baalbek district, Dr. Ali Subhi Hazimeh, accompanied by a team of inspectors from the Ministry of Public Health, raided shops that manufacture and sell foodstuffs in Baalbek.
He requested the closure of a small unlicensed cheese and dairy factory at the southern entrance of Baalbek, “because it does not comply with health standards and does not meet food safety requirements.”
Dr. Hazimeh also issued a warning to a chicken slaughterhouse in the locality of Basateen Baalbek, and demanded that it “comply with the health and technical conditions specified in the warning within a period of one and a half months.”
