Lionel Messi (35) is only under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until the end of the season. The superstar’s unclear future leaves a lot of room for speculation. These rumors apparently drive Jorge Messi up the wall.
“Fake news – don’t trust them, we won’t accept any more lies,” Messi’s father rumbled on Instagram and cleared up three rumors about his son.
It was reported, among other things, that the PSG striker clashed with his coach, Christophe Galtier (56), during training last Tuesday and therefore left the pitch.
Messi is said to have been so angry because the Parisians previously made him an offer that the reigning world champion has rejected. In addition, the journalist Jaime Astrein wrote about negotiations with the Saudi Arabian club Al Hilal, in which Jorge Messi demanded 600 million euros for his son’s two-year contract.

Lionel Messi stopped training due to injury
As Lionel Messi’s father has now made it absolutely clear, these rumors are just a fantasy. In relation to an alleged freak out during training, Jorge’s statement has already been confirmed.
Messi had to pull out of the session earlier in the week after taking a hit. After problems with his adductors, the Argentinian got Galtier’s permission to retire early, which he was granted.
It is not yet known whether Messi will miss the league game against Stade Rennes at the weekend. PSG could certainly do without the star player with a ten-point lead over Olympique Marseille.
