At the end of the evening, when Rudzupuķe and the Unicorn came to the voting strip, the detectives of the show decided that the Unicorn will be exposed tonight. He performed the song “Delilah” by the singer Tom Jones, touching not only the audience but also the detectives. This time Baiba Sipeniece-Gavare’s analytical abilities allowed her to discover that the singer Jānis Moisejs was hiding under the mask of the Unicorn. The other detectives mentioned that the actor of the New Riga Theater Ritvars Logins, the soloist of the band “Keksi” Dāvis Mackins and the TV personality Armands Simpson could have been hiding under the mask.
Looking at the information hidden in the threads, we found out that Jānis knows how to count not only beats, but also money – he is a banker and he is no stranger to financial literacy. He is also good at translating, you can find his translated book on improvisational theater on library shelves. Jānis once dreamed of a career in which he would be able to use his speaking skills and diplomacy – he once wanted to become the minister of foreign affairs. On the other hand, the basketball ball, which he had taken with him on stage as a clue, pointed to the fact that in his youth, playing basketball, he had won two gold medals with his team.
After removing the mask, seeing that Jānis was hiding under it, Baiba once again confirmed that “this is the case when wisdom goes together with talent”. Although Jānis works in the financial sector on a daily basis, he likes to sing in his free time, because it is his heart’s business.
Jānis, in response to participating in the show, was concise and did not hide that he would have liked to continue participating in the show: “I would have liked to use more of my vacation days for this adventure. This was definitely a colorful adventure.” He also said that he had prepared several country-style songs for future performances, but the producers did not allow some songs to be included in the list because they would be too revealing.
