The Ministry of Finance has set the dates for paying workers’ salaries and the like for the month of April, during the period from 13 to 30 April 2023, and for the month of May during the period from 18 to 24 May 2023, and for the month of June during the period from 18 to 22 June 2023..
As for the arrears of workers’ dues other than salaries, they will be disbursed on the 6th, 9th, and 10th of April 2023, on the 7th, 10th, and 11th of May 2023, and on the 7th, 8th, and 11th of June 2023..
And the government decided to amend and increase salaries and allowances, to start from the beginning of next April, provided that this package is worth 1,000 pounds for each employee working in the state’s administrative apparatus, in addition to raising the minimum wage for the sixth degree to become 3,500 pounds, and 5,000 pounds for the fifth degree, as was done. Raising the minimum for masters and PhD holders, increasing pensions by 15%, and increasing the financial value of the “Takaful and Karama” program by 25%.%.
The new increase will cost the state’s general budget, starting from the first of next April, 40 billion pounds, and the general budget will bear 150 billion pounds during the fiscal year..
