In the latest prognosis, BoerBurgerBeweging (BBB) climbs to 17 seats in the Senate. D66 drops back to 5 seats. According to the ANP, this appears after counting almost all votes for the Provincial Council elections.
BBB, the big winner of the election, was on 15 seats in the first Ipsos exit polls on election night. Later that grew to 16 and now the ANP reports that another seat has been added to the provisional result.
The new prognosis is calculated on the basis of the provisional results of all municipalities, on 95 percent of the votes counted in Amsterdam and the provisional results of Dutch people living abroad, which the municipality of The Hague announced today. It will not be definitively clear until the end of May how the new relations in the Senate will be.
