The movement takes place in two stages:
- the inter-academic movement: to change academy,
- intra-academic movement: to transfer within the academy.
The second part of the movement begins in mid-March. During the intra-academic movement, secondary school staff make wishes to change assignment within their assigned academy or the academy obtained following the inter-academic movement.
It is essential to be accompanied by trade unionists in these important moments of your career.

The reference text for understanding the transfer procedure for all secondary school teaching and CPE staff is the one that sets out the Management Guidelines that you will find on your academy’s website.
The Management Guidelines are the instructions for your transfer.
In this text you will find:
- the schedule of the stages of the mutation,
- the details of the calculation of your points specific to each academy.
SUD Education can support you in your appeals!
The general civil service code (article L 216-1) allows administrative appeals to be lodged against “unfavorable individual decisions”, for personnel, it is a decision not to transfer or to transfer in extension, using the link provided in the Iprof message to the Colibris application, explaining your situation and the reasons which lead you to file an appeal. You can designate SUD Education to support you in your approach.
Advice from SUD Education to make your wishes come true!
1- be accompanied by SUD education
2- ask yourself where you want to live and work. Once you have defined your objective, then SUD education unionists can help you develop a strategy.
3- compare with the bars of previous years.
there is no miracle recipe and bars from previous years are unreliable in disciplines with few staff because they depend a lot on the personal situation of the last entrant! Nevertheless the bars make it possible to place oneself and to know if a wish is possible or not.
4- make these wishes by going from the particular to the general! be careful this advice is not always valid, some bonuses can be blocked if you do that.
The demands of SUD Education:
- the same handicap bonuses for all academies,
- massive job openings: with more than 8,000 job cuts in 6 years in secondary education, obtaining a permanent position depending on the disciplines and the academies can be very long when the needs are there!
- a better support system for entering the profession
- ensure fair treatment between academies for certain bonuses (e.g. incoming TZR, medical priorities, “aggregate” privileges
- return to the excessive number of specific posts and profile posts, which calls into question the egalitarian and transparent nature of the movement and removes each year a significant number of transfer possibilities for colleagues (inter and intra )
