The new character poster of Sakunthalam, in which Samantha plays the title character, has been released. The crew has released the character poster of Madhubala, who is very popular with South Indian movie lovers. Madhubala will play Apsaras Menaka in the film. Fans have now taken over the actor’s image as Apsara.
The star’s fans share the wonder that the 53-year-old Madhubala looks ageless when she sees her as Menaka. However, the star’s new photo and makeover is getting massive acceptance on social media.
Young Malayalam star Dev Mohan is playing the role of ‘Dushyantana’ in the film. Dev Mohan is an actor who came to the silver screen with Sufi Yum Sujatha. Gunasekhar has directed the film which will hit the theaters on April 14.
The film will be released in five languages including Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. The movie will be released in different languages and will be in 3D. The makers say that the movie presents Shakuntala-Dushyanthan love from Shakuntala’s point of view.
Allu Arha, Sachin Khedekar, Kabir Bedi, Dr. M. Mohan Babu, Prakash Raj, Gauthami, Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagalla, Jishu Sengupta etc. are playing other characters in the film.
Produced by Neelima Guna under the banner of Guna Team Works, the film is presented by Dil Raju of Sri Venkateswara Creations. Dil Raju also produced Vijay’s film Warees, which hit the theaters for Pongal.
