The scientist physicist’s wife Raina cried: “Farewell, dear Kolyo! I hope you have gone to a better world!” The questions of where, when, why are burning my brain”.

“The fatal end eclipsed a lifetime dedicated to knowledge, science, history, because now everyone seems afraid to mention the name and it sinks into oblivion, except in the hearts of the family,” she wrote.
The woman also commented on the pain that remained from the scientist’s disappearance.
“In the morning, I wake up with regret that I didn’t sleep forever, but I grit my teeth and pray for my children and grandchildren: that they are healthy, that they have a lighter and calmer life, that they are happy, and that I don’t cause them any worries.” writes Balabanova. She is devastated that “the fatal end has eclipsed a lifetime dedicated to knowledge, science, history, because now everyone seems afraid to mention the name and it sinks into oblivion, except in the hearts of the family.
