Vladimir Putin made a surprise visit to Crimea on the occasion of the 9th anniversary of the annexation of the peninsula by Ukraine, writes Reuters. The Russian president was welcomed by the governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev. He took him to see a new children’s center and art school. According to TASS, Putin personally drove the car in which he arrived.
