Photos show road to Pamporovo closed due to surprise snowfall

Earlier today Plovdiv24.bg informs you that winter has returned in full force in the Rhodopes. Now Facebook users reported the following: “They stopped the traffic. Waiting for a car to be sanded, the journey through Pamporovo is on a sled.”

The publication is accompanied by a shot showing that police representatives have indeed stopped the traffic. It is snowing in the area, the air temperature is minus one degree, which complicates the conditions for movement in the mountains.

“Hello! The shots I’m sending you are from the “Prevala” pass. It hasn’t stopped raining for 2 hours, there’s not a single snowplow, the road is dead,” our reader from Plovdiv explained earlier in the day.
