A Swedish man has admitted murdering a woman who disappeared several years ago. The police found her remains in the man’s freezer, writes Aftonbladet.
During a hospital stay, the man is said to have uninvited told about the murder in Värmland, writes Aftonbladet. According to what the newspaper learns, body parts from the woman were found in a freezer, where they must have been for several years.
The police do not wish to comment on this information, but confirm that they have launched a murder investigation.
– We found a dead woman in a home on Thursday, and in that connection we arrested a man, says operations manager Torbjörn Roos of the police in Bergslagen.
The man has been formally arrested and charged with murder. The farm where he lives is cordoned off.
A neighbor tells the newspaper that they rarely saw the man now accused of murder.
– He keeps to himself and has the curtains drawn. If we drive past and say hello, he doesn’t say hello back.
