8 football clubs made it to the quarterfinals of the Europa League, which made up the following pairs:
1) Manchester United will play Sevilla.
2) Turin “Juventus” will fight with Lisbon “Sporting”.
3) Bayer FC will try their hand against Union St. Giloise.
4) Feyenoord Football Club will play with Roma.
Accordingly, the winners of the pairs will play in the semifinals:
1) Juventus FC – Sporting CP / Manchester United FC – Sevilla FC.
2) FC Feyenoord – FC Roma / FC Bayer – FC Union St. Giloise.
The debut matches of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals are scheduled to take place on April 13, and the return games will take place a week later, on April 20. The semi-final matches will be organized on May 11 and 18.
The final match of the LE of the current season will be hosted by the Puskas Arena in Budapest. This event is scheduled for May 31st. The Europa League winner will automatically qualify for the 2023/24 Champions League group stage.
Ukrainian FC Shakhtar from Donetsk dropped out of the football tournament at the 1/8 final stage, having lost to the Dutch football club Feyenoord (1:1, 7:1). Ukrainian Oleksandr Zinchenko, who plays for the London Arsenal, will also not continue the European Cup course, as his team lost to Sporting FC in the post-match penalty shootout at the same stage.
