Russia will send missiles to Poland in response to the deployment of American artillery on the border with the Kaliningrad region. This statement was made by State Duma Deputy Lieutenant General Andrei Gurulev, former Deputy Commander of the Southern Military District (August 2016 – January 2019).
Today, March 17, Polish Minister of National Defense Mariusz Blaszczak reported that Warsaw had decided to deploy the first American long-range rocket artillery systems HIMARS near the border with Russia (Kaliningrad region). In response, General Gurulev told the telegram channel Putin_tg_Russia:
“If they did so, then we have no choice but to fend off this threat. On NATO long-range artillery systems, we will put our missile systems tied to these targets. There are diplomatic ways, there are political ones… But in military terms, you need to understand who, where and how many put these systems and how to destroy them.”
Speaking about Poland, the State Duma deputy noted that this is an “Anglo-Saxon mongrel”, nothing more.
