ErajayaDigital make up the look iBox at Plaza Indonesia, Jakarta. Now the shop on the third floor is an outlet Apple Premium Partner and this is the first in Indonesia.
Eric Lee, Erajaya Digital’s Chief of Merchandising and Planning, revealed the reason for choosing iBox at Plaza Indonesia to be transformed into an Apple Premium Partner outlet. There is a historical factor behind it.
“This is a historic location for us, because of what? This is the first iBox location to open in Indonesia, in 2005,” said Eric during a media preview session.
So what’s the difference with other iBox outlets? In the store which has an area of 218.7m2, visitors are promised to enjoy a different atmosphere, one that catches the eye is the interior.
“If you’ve been to iBox many times, it’s definitely different coming here. But actually there are a lot of different things,” said Luis Anthony, Head of Marketing at Erajaya Digital in the same place.
Apart from providing iPhones, iPads, Apple Watches, Macs, and accessories such as AirPods and AirTags, iBox also presents products and solutions related to SMEs, both hardware and software. In addition, a regular iBox Experience Day is held for the public which is held every Saturday and Sunday.
“This activity will be held regularly every weekend to invite users, especially iBox customers, to feel they can maximize the Apple devices they have. Tips and tricks will be provided by iBox Experts who are Apple Certified Trainers,” explained Luis.
Interestingly, this iBox operates without a physical cash register, with staff ready to serve customer needs in all rooms. It is reminiscent of the Apple Stores which are scattered around the world.
