Several Indonesian companies will build the industry panel surya. The companies are PT Adaro Clean Energy Indonesia (Adaro Green), PT Medco Power Indonesia (Medco Power), and PT Energi Baru TBS (New Energy).
This was marked by the signing of a memorandum of understanding for the development of renewable energy (EBT) as well as the supply chain for solar photovoltaic (PV) and battery energy storage systems (SPEB) in Indonesia with several PV and battery manufacturers (OEM/Original Equipment Manufacturer).
The signing was carried out by President Director of PT Adaro Power Dharma Djojonegoro, President Director of Medco Power Eka Satria, and Main Director of New Energy Dimas Adi Wibowo, witnessed by the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan and Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security HE Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean in Singapore on Thursday (16/3) yesterday.
This collaboration is part of the company’s commitment to support the government in achieving the Net Zero Emission target through accelerating industrial development panel surya for the development of EBT in Indonesia.
“We are ready to support the government in developing infrastructure and the solar power industry in Indonesia. PLTS is the largest source of EBT which will contribute to more than 50% of domestic electricity generation in 2060,” said President Director of PT Adaro Power Dharma Djojonegoro in a statement, Friday (17/3/2023).
Meanwhile, President Director of PT Medco Power Indonesia Eka Satria said this was the company’s support for the Indonesian government’s program to accelerate the implementation of renewable energy.
