Arrived in Lyon in 2016, the Ecole Supérieure des Sciences Commerciales d’Angers continues its development in the capital of Gaul. The inauguration on March 16, 2023 of the new wing of ESSCA’s Lyon campus is intended to be a showcase for its strategic ambitions.

ESSCA, a well-established school in Lyon
Founded in 1909 in Angers, ESSCA is today a business school firmly rooted in the landscape of the Grandes Ecoles, with particular strength in ten campuses in France and abroad :

Present in Lyon since 2016, ESSCA moved to its current campus in Gerland in June 2019.near the futuristic Confluence district, on the site of the former administrative headquarters of the Merial laboratory.
After six months of work in a wing integrated into the existing site, ESSCA has added 2,500 m2 to its Lyon campus, thus increasing its surface area to 9,000 m2 in total.

What does the new wing of ESSCA’s Lyon campus look like?
The new wing of ESSCA’s Lyon campus spans 2,500 m2 and three levels.
7 classrooms with a capacity of 48 places have been created, each equipped with interactive screens, wifi connection and floor sockets.
About ten individual and double offices for the teams are also added to the existing spaces, as well as many spaces and work rooms with various configurations to allow students, teachers and collaborators to work and bring life to the campus in pleasant conditions.
On the ground floor, more than 500 m2 are shared between spaces for relaxation and individual and collective work: the “Workcafé” and the “Learning Center” welcome the various stakeholders and are intended as living spaces in their own right.
