The theme of the meeting of the heads of state of the organization is “Disaster Management and Humanitarian Aid”
The head of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov today, March 16, arrived at the Presidential Complex of the Republic of Turkey in Ankara to participate in an extraordinary meeting of the summit of the heads of the countries participating in the Organization of Turkic States. This was reported in the press service of the President.
It is noted that the leaders of states and heads of delegations who arrived at the event were welcomed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
After the end of the welcoming ceremony and joint photographing, the heads of state moved to the meeting room.
The topic of the extraordinary meeting of the member countries of the organization is “Disaster Management and Humanitarian Aid”.
The event will discuss issues of natural disasters caused by natural and man-made hazards, as well as collective response measures.
The summit is attended by the leaders of the UTC member states – Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan. The Prime Minister of Hungary and the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan – as countries with the status of observers.
