Lateral is accompanied by English and French clubs. Benfica, which could do without Grimaldo, is also attentive. The left-back has always had a high performance for the Flavians and even after being out of action due to injury, he has returned to convince, to the point where he now sees the future full of captivating destinations.
Bruno Langa may be close to making a big leap, attracting attention in clubs in England – Leeds and Nottingham Forest -, France – Lille -, but also in Benfica, here from a perspective of studying the succession to Grimaldo.
The Chaves left-back, even though he has had physical problems, has proved his importance since he reappeared, offering an above-average offensive rotation and an extreme ease in the climbs and recoveries, which make him an untouchable man for Vítor Campelos, whenever in possession of ideal physical conditions.
The Mozambican international is in his second season in Trás-os-Montes, with a record of 21 games, while in his debut season for the Flavians, marked by his promotion to the I Liga, he ended up with 32 games. After starting to take his first kicks on clay in rehearsals of three to three, Langa left Mozambique at the age of 21 to reinforce Amora, passing through V. Setúbal, before Chaves.
Benfica made some observations and saw the full-back reactivate all attributes after injury. The Mozambican, who for years sought a fixed position, oscillating between midfielder, winger and centre-half, attracts with his offensive appetite and reliability in the most backward duels.
With a contract until 2024, the defender feels motivated to finish the season at a high level to really open the doors of a great club, and in that context Benfica’s attention is motivating, although he has to consider the surveys and exploratory contacts from England and from France.
